The Bar Craft

We believe that the best way to learn is by getting hands-on behind the bar. While our courses do involve some theory, these lessons are designed to be entertaining and informative. The vast majority of your time with us will be spent behind the bar, pouring drinks and dealing with customer scenarios. By the time you graduate from The Bar Craft you will have made hundreds of drinks and worked through almost every possible scenario, dealing with different types of customer and their various requests. In 20 hours of class time we will transform you from interested novice into experienced bartender.

The Bar Craft School of Bartending has created a range of bartending courses designed to help students become trained bartenders and learn the skills that they need to succeed in the hospitality industry. At the end of the course you can gain a bartending certificate and essential information to help you land your first bartending job. We keep our courses small for a personalized 1-on-1 feel, which helps to accelerate the learning process. As well as teaching students how to make multiple drinks at once we also replicate authentic workplace situations such as creating a cocktail while ringing customers in and starting a bar tab.
To further enhance the realism, our bar is stocked with the most commonly used liquor bottles filled with coloured water. By the time our students graduate from The Bar Craft they will be ready to not only deal with life as a bartender, and all the difficulties that can arise when working a shift, but they will also be equipped with the ability to make a wealth of cocktails and the confidence to perform at the highest level of the hospitality industry. This is the only bartending course you will ever need to take.
